I agree. The weeds in the medians on East West Highway and on Kenilworth look terrible. The entity that is in charge of the weeds is (as I understand it) the State Highways Administration, not even the county. You can file a request for service here: </div>

I'm pretty sure the Town has already done this, but it can't hurt for a bunch of residents to do it too! </div>

Years ago, our town planted trees in the median and while the trees were maturing the town took over mowing the grass. That was the only time in (my) memory that our medians were well-maintained. </div>

I am so glad Audrey sent her message. I was going to do it yesterday as well and got sidetracked. The weeds on E/W are ridiculous. Who do we need to contact to clean it up. No other jurisdiction look like ours.

> Could someone in town hall (town administrator, clerk, public works etc) call the county to come cut the weeds on 410? It makes our town look unkempt and trashy. The tall weeds attract ticks, flies, rats, etc. I noticed Greenbelt doesn't have this problem.
Also trees are growing in the Wells Run area in the middle of the highway and will probably impede creek flow and cause flooding. I think this is is a disgrace and should be addressed right away. Also if you talk to the county, please ask them not to cut
up the trash with the mower and have it fly all over the place as they have done in the past. Please pick up the trash before you mow. If the county cannot handle it, could the town do it and bill the county. I would like to see a nice clean town.<br>
