[RP Town Announce] Town Council Meeting (9/6/2005)

Today, Tuesday, September 6, the Town Council will have its monthly
legislative session at 8 pm, Town Hall, 5008 Queensbury Road.  This
monthly meeting is where most of the business of the Town is decided.
All residents are encouraged to attend to learn about what is
happening in town, and to bring up any concerns they might have.

Items on the agenda include:
* A revision to penalties for operating an unlicensed dance hall, or
operating a dance hall contrary to any agreements between the town and
operator.
* Changing the Town Code to allow the council more input on Town Crier content
* Select a street project to propose for funding under the Community
Development Block Grant program
* Act on a request from the Riverdale Pizza Pub for a dance hall permit
* Recommendation for strengthening No-Parking signs on Taylor Road to
Facilitate safe pedestrian passage near the school
