[RP Town Announce] Preparing for Election Day on May 1, 2023

Prior to Election Day:


  *   If you moved recently, be sure to update your voter registration with the Prince George's County Board of Elections (County/State voters) 301-341-7300 or the Town Clerk (TRP Supplemental Voter Registry voters) 301-927-6381, extension 505.


  *   Review the list of candidates that is available on the Town's website<https://www.riverdaleparkmd.gov/government/elections/2023_election/candidate_listing.php> or on the Election Notices posted in each ward and throughout Town.


  *   If you requested an Absentee (Mail-in) Ballot, be sure to return it as soon as possible. Absentee (Mail-in) Ballots can be returned by mail or by depositing them in the Ballot Drop Box located at Town Hall. Absentee (Mail-in) Ballots must be received by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, May 1, 2023.

On Election Day:


  *   Plan to arrive at the polls (Town Hall) after 7:00 a.m. and before 8:00 p.m.


  *   If you plan to register to vote<https://www.riverdaleparkmd.gov/government/elections/2023_election/register_to_vote.php> on Election Day, be sure to bring the required documentation. Voter registration forms are available on the Town's website or in the document holder at Town Hall, if you would like to complete the voter registration form prior to Election Day.
