[RP TownTalk] Queensbury Buses

How would this work, again?

Buses would slow traffic on 410 (bad) instead of my neighborhood street
(good)? They would bring it to a stop, or have cutouts made in the
roadsides, at bus stops? Widen the road? There's really no room.

Do we want buses to serve our Town Center, or do we just give up on it?
How would the foot traffic work, between bus stops on 410 and our Town
Center? Up and down the stairs on the bridge? How would we make a cutout
for a stop? Rip it out of the Calvert gravesite park? Do you really want
the litter collecting there, and falling into town from that altitude?

I believe Gerard Kiernan, Councilmember for Ward 5, the apartments, is in
fact on this list? Any thoughts on this issue, Mr. Keirnan?

When I bought my house, I thought of the bus stops a block from it as a
major perk for my daughter. I would very much appreciate them being left
where they are. I don't want my daughter walking or standing along 410
any more than I want her walking on Kennilworth Avenue.

As an aside, I've been timing how long it takes to get out of my driveway
in the mornings. The three days of data I have so far are 17 seconds, 12
seconds, and 0 seconds.
