[RP TownTalk] E-mail lists moving to new provider

Greetings Riverdale Park e-mail list subscribers,

Due to continuing problems with the town's current e-mail list
provider, we will be moving all lists to a new server starting the
evening of August 11, 2006 (this Friday).  There will be a 2-3 day
window at that time during which the mailing lists may not operate
correctly, although we will be working to preserve all e-mails sent
during this window.  We may ask during that time that you re-send your
message after the switchover has completed.

As a result of this move, you will be receiving a welcome message that
you have been subscribed to the list/lists to which you are currently
subscribed.  We hope to move all of the settings of your subscriptions
to the new server, although a few glitches are likely.  Those of you
subscribed to multiple lists will see multiple copies of this message.

Many list members have not been receiving e-mails due to technical and
management problems at the current provider, and after working with
them for many weeks to resolve the situation we came to the
realization that we needed a more reliable host.
