Thank you all for your support on this. I am humbled by the response.

If you can speak at the meeting tonight (Mon 12/4/06 8 pm) that 
would be a huge help.

One clarification ...
In Gerald's thoughtful email. He wrote "...attract more creative 
town council members by 'first'  raising the salaries of the 
present members of the council."

Just to be clear, a pay change would take effect after the 
next set of elections (which are coming in the spring).
