SHH! MUMS THE WORD!
 
Doris Pullman is Moving to the Eastern Shore and We’re Getting Together 
for Dessert and Tea and to Celebrate Her Numerous Contributions to 
Riverdale Park.
 
 
On Friday, June 23, 2006 from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., we’re getting 
together at Town Hall for dessert and tea with the Tea Lady –Doris 
Pullman.  Doris has built a retirement home on the Eastern Shore and 
will be moving there soon.
 
Doris has been invited for dessert with the Recreation Board, but we’re 
inviting everyone in Town who knows Doris and would like to acknowledge 
her numerous contributions over the years to Riverdale Park.  Please 
join us:
 
	• 	RSVP to David Lingua at djlingua at yahoo.com, or Marita Novicky @ 
novickym at hotmail.com
	• 	Plan to bring your favorite homemade dessert to share; we’ll 
provide hot tea, ice tea, and lemonade, and plates, knives, forks, and 
spoons.
	• 	Contribute $10.00 for a gift for Doris—a Gerald King print of 
Riversdale that will be matted and framed.  Make arrangements to give 
David or Marita your $10.00 for the gift and be sure to sign the card.
	• 	Be there and share your memories of Doris and her many 
contributions to Riverdale Park. Bring the kids too!
We’re posting this message to Town Talk because Doris is not a 
subscriber and we wanted to invite as many people as possible.  
Remember, Doris thinks that she is getting together with six members of 
the Recreation Board, so Mums the Word!
