[RP TownTalk] EYA Development in Hyattsville

Being new to RIverdale Park I have a few questions to throw out there - 
  is there a plan to coordinate with Hyattsville on development in and 
around the Route 1 area of Riverdale Park?  Does Riverdale Park have an 
urban planner and is there a master plan such as what Hyattsville is 
working on? Also does Riverdale Park have a Civic Association or 
Homeowners Association?

For what its worth, the future Wachovia site should be a centerpiece of 
Riverdale Park. It would be refreshing to take into consideration what 
is needed in the local area - but community area where it could have a 
tower with a clock, with offices on top of the development and retail 
like restaurants, a coffee shop, possibly a corner market on the bottom 
with large sidewalks and trees. There are more people moving out of PG 
County than moving in, it would be a great step to promote liveable 
communities and maximize the benefit of the million dollar investment 
happening down the street.
