I don't know if I would be quite that harsh.  One of the advantages of
living in a municipality is that we have our own police force.

We do have a lower rate of property crime than the unincorporated
county, and thanks to our detective, a far better record of followup
on property crime.

By the way, another neighbor wrote me about a car break-in on Oliver. 
Same story -- the car was unlocked, the thief took their time.  So be
on the lookout.
