Sadly, a fire destroyed the Roda's home last Thursday
Oct 26, 2006, at 5405 Jefferson Street in Riverdale Park.
Unfortunately, they lost everything.

Carlos and Lucia Roda have 3 children and 2 cousins that were
staying with them. They have insurance, but it will be awhile before
that comes thru. They are working with Calvert Park Apartments
in hopes of finding a temporary place to stay until their home is rebuilt.

They were given several mattresses by the A&S Clothing and
Furniture store, and coats from the Passion & Compassion Center

They are in urgent need of sheets, blankets, linens, diapers,
furniture, beds, curtains, clothing and cash.

The three children are:
Jefree, 11 year old boy, Size: shirt medium, pants 10, shoes 5 1/2
Migdely, 10 year old girl, Size: blouse medium, pants 9, shoes 4 1/2
and their youngest is a 2 year old boy.
