I'm getting my 2 kittens neutered at the Washington Humane Society for a
much more affordable $45 each. I got my appointment (tomorrow morning) about
10 days after I first called. http://www.washhumane.org/snclinic.htm

Good luck to your friend - that does indeed sound like an impeding explosion
of cats.

Subject: [RP TownTalk] Orphan cats

One of my best friends, cat
lover, who used to live in
Riverdale for 13 yrs or so,
bought a small house in
Hagerstown. Naturally
animals know who love them
& the abandoned, etc cats
have found their way to
her closed porch with cat
opening.

She works 2 jobs, the 2nd to
care for these cats but is in
over her head & needs help
with spaying/neutering &
catching 3 terrified ones.

Vets there do not give price
breaks, Humane Soc. is
swamped putting most to
sleep, the cat groups who
visit Petsmart cant help
either. $180 spay, $140 male

Needing neutering/spraying:
3 teenagers female - sweet
2 teenagers female - terrfied (calico)
1 adult female - friendly
2 adult female, 1 male (need trapping)
   but are sweet
10 kittens within 3 mon. neutering

She has 2 inside cats adopted &
maybe could adopt the 3 teens.
If all were neutered, she could
continue her second job and
provide for the others.

So she needs prof. trapping &
discount vet services to stop
the explosion.

Can we find help??? Thanks

Emily
