Upcoming Events - we have a full weekend of good cheap fun here in RP with
Halloween parties for adults, kids and even pets.

The Calvert House Inn is celebrating the grand opening of their new Tavern Room...
 
The Tavern Room Halloween costume party, Saturday, Oct. 28, 7 p.m.
This adult party offers free food, live music, dancing, and $1.25 Bud Light beers. 
Best costume wins a free dinner for two at the Calvert House.
 
The new Tavern Room Happy Hour is 4-7 p.m., everyday, with half price domestic 
beers ($1.50) and rail drinks ($2). The Happy Hour starts this Saturday (before the 
party) and continues everyday including weekends 4-7 p.m. 
The new Tavern Room Lunch Buffet is $7.95, weekdays, noon-2:30 p.m.

We almost lost the Calvert House last winter. So come out and have a little fun and help 
make our Calvert House treasure a great success. See you at the party Saturday night.

Flight Night Halloween costume party, Saturday, Oct. 28, 7-9 p.m. This is the area’s 
largest Halloween party for kids and families. Wear your costume for a fun evening 
of arts, crafts, and haunted hay rides. $4. College Park Aviation Museum, 1985 Cpl.

Forget to set it back and you will show up an hour early. Remember and enjoy an extra 
hour of sleep. The sun will set Sunday at 5:11 p.m., with twilight ending at 5:39 p.m.

Halloween Pets on Parade, Sunday, Oct. 29, 2006, Noon - 4 p.m.
This great event is back. Laugh and awe at the dogs, kids and adults in costume. Great fun.
Prizes for Everyone. (Pet costumes loaned to those who need them).  Pet photo shoot,
food vendors (Calvert House), live music, dog obedience demo, and dog rescue and care Info.

Goatman Hollow - a goulash interactive haunted house that benefits the volunteer Riverdale 
Park Fire Department. Goatman Hollow materializes in the old credit union building in the 
Town Center, 4705 Queensbury Road. www.goatmanhollow.com. Anyone under the age of 
14 must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 9 are discouraged from attending.
