If they are not battery operated toys, I would be interested in taking
them off your hands.  I send toys/books to an orphanage overseas so I am
always in search of toys.  If the other places are not accepting
donations I would be happy to take them from you.  You can email me

RE the question about donating toys - are any places like St. Annes'
Infant and Maternity Home in Hyattsville accepting donations?  If not,
possibly they might know someone who is.  Or maybe there are shelters
for victims of domestic violence and their children who might accept
donations?
