[RP TownTalk] Grocery stores in the area?

I have been shopping lately in Grocery Americana and find it superior to 
Giant's dirtier-and-even-more expensive-by-the-day stores. It offers great produce 
for less than both Giant and Safeway, and the butcher cuts to order for less. 
Wow, except for maybe Graul's in Annapolis, where do you get that? The store 
is old but it's clean and the staff are in good cheer. I'd encourage Mr. 
Lubian to consider adding the space where the old Riverdale Plaza Giant operated 
and then I'd thank him by shopping there.

A butcher shop? For real? I thought I had to drive to the Whole Foods in

grocery store just up the street in Bladensburg (4900
Annapolis Rd. - at the intersection of Rt. 450 and
Edmonston Rd.).  Americana Grocery has been in the
D.C. Metro area for over 40 years catering to the
international clientele.

Come on by and check us out.  We have one of the few
old-fashioned butcher shop in the area where you can
get the freshest meats cut and prepared to your
liking, a vast assortment of all kinds of produce
(arriving daily), as well as, your regular groceries
and all at great prices.
