Minutes from the June 6, 2006 Mixed Use Town Center Design Review
Committee are posted on the town website. The agenda included review
of Jey's Auto and design comments on Wachovia.

Jey's auto proposes rehabilitation of the existing structure and a 55
sq.ft. addition to the current building. The project is not required
to conform to M-UTC zoning because the modification to the structure
is minor. (M-UTC zoning kicks in when the building is expanded by 250
sq. ft. or more.)  However, the gas station is an excepted use that
will require the project to seek a special permit from the county.
Though not required to do so, the applicant proposes to enhance the
streets cape in a manner that would comply with elements of the M-UTC
zoning.

The latest Wachovia project amendments were reviewed by the M-UTC
Committee. While several improvements were made to the project, the
committee noted that the number of drive through lanes were still a
concern. The committee requested that a letter be issued to the Town
and County Planning Board (see links below.)
