[RP TownTalk] Help make RP what you want and enjoy it too

I love many of the ideas that have been tossed out. Quite a while back, I 
got involved in an offline chat with a poster on the RP TownArts list and we 
started chatting about what we could do with the town center as it is now. 
Some of the ideas were:
1) Used the empty store fronts to hold a local art exhibit (I've seen this 
done in many cities prior to commercial occupation of developed buildings);
2) Host a weekly or monthly outdoor movie night w/ movies projected onto the 
tallest building (similar to the open air film night every Friday night in 
Baltimore's Little Italy)
3) Town potluck (would there be anything prohibiting us from using the 
parking lot to set up tables and have a giant potluck?)
4) TownCenter water balloon battle
5) Weekly/monthly musical concerts (this one basically exists w/ what now 
goes on at the farmer's market)

I'm already picturing a Town Center w/ benches, a water fountain, bike 
store, multiple restaurants, hobby stores, artist co-op, dollshop, etc., 
etc.

Tina and I have occasionally tossed around the idea of opening an Artist 
Consignment shop in the area, where local artist and crafts-people could 
offer their wares to the public, and where classes and workshops could be 
held. Of course, we've always come to the conclusion that it wouldn't be 
feasible without a good location at a reasonable rent (hint, hint).
