[RP TownTalk] Landy report delayed- time to complain

Please read - important information regarding the Landy Property. (1300
units to be built behind NW High School.  Serious impacts on school
overcrowding, traffic and environment.)

Regulations require that a Staff Report be available to the public 2 weeks
prior to Planning Board review hearing. The Landy Report was due Wednesday
6/27, but is not yet done.  It is now expected to be available on Monday,
7/2. This is the day University Park's town council will vote on the
proposal and just a week before Hyattsville and Riverdale Park take it up.

This is a violation of the regulations and a slap in the face to the people
who will be affected by the proposed 1300 units.  It is not acceptable for a
project that is so large and controversial.

I strongly urge you to send a quick note to complain about the delay and
request that the July 12 Planning Board hearing be rescheduled to allow for
an appropriate 2 week reading period for the Staff Report.
