[RP TownTalk] recent concerns

ok, can the association do me a favor, I have been trying to get the dumpster moved from my fence (I am the house in the big parking lot by the old Citizens bank). I have been trying unsuccessfully (including calling the town on it and the county). It is fenced in with a useless mesh fence which keeps nothing (and nobody) out. People come dump their personal trash there all the time and nothing is done. Of course the rat problem is always an issue because of the litter. My fence (new) even got damaged by people pulling trucks up to dump trash (anyone driving by McDonalds please feel free to take a look at the side of my fence). When I have called Douglas Developers, they keep telling me they will look in to it. This parking lot is big, they could move it to the other side without taking up any parking spaces for their employees. HELLLPPPP!!!
P.S. This is also the dumpster I mentioned previously that gets dumped at the crack of dawn.

The Riverdale Park Business Associations is a group of business persons in the town. We meet once a month. We are very active in the community and willing to help the town in many ways. Mayor Archer, Administrator Prangley, and Councilperson Oppenheim faithfully attend our meetings. When people in town have a problem with a business (noise, for example at Cresent Cities) they can contact the association or one of the officials who attend the meeting and we will discuss the problem and hopefuly find a solution. Cresent Cities was not aware of the trash removal noise. When I spoke to the Administrator about it, he said he would look into it. Simple solution. No need to have the police come at 3 a.m., write up all the laws, and get bent out of shape....Just a simple neighborly phone call or email can fix things. That's why living in a small town is so wonderful and satisfying. We are neighbors! The Business Association is a great resource for the towns people. Please feel free to join us at any of the meetings. We welcome regular residents as well as businesses. Meetings take place the first Wednesday of the month. email me for more info. Thanks. Audrey Bragg, President
