It's not Riverdale Park, but there is an online resource for DC's lowest gas
prices:

We're lucky to have some excellent bike/walking paths in our neighborhood!

RE the "gas protest," "gas out," whatever it's being
called; a good website to visit is snopes.com - they
deal with urban legends, e-mail hoaxes, etc. They
address all of the reasons that a 1 day "gas out"
wouldn't work. (this was also addressed on the news
the other evening) A 1 day boycott isn't good,
because everyone will just "fill up" the day before or
day after; snopes.com suggested a long-term decline in
gas usage would possibly have more effect on prices.
(taking public transportation, walking etc) It would
be nice if those gas prices could come down, though,
wouldn't it?
