[RP TownTalk] Cafritz property

Dear neighbors,

I was unable to make contact with the attorney for the Cafritz property to
confirm the dates/time and agenda for their public design meetings.  She is
traveling and won't return until at least Monday. It seems that the
following is accurate, and we will post updates if there are changes:

Saturday, June 2, 10 to noon; Saturday, June 2, 1-3 p.m.; Thursday, June 7,
7-9 p.m. at Riverdale Elementary School.

Then, on Thursday, June 14, 7-9 p.m. we will have a follow up session to
establish goals and principles for the project.  The location again is
Riverdale Elementary School.

Please note that there is no "plan" at this time.  These meetings are
designed to give the community input on the process of creating a plan from
a very early stage.  Please come out to one or more of the sessions and be a
part of the process.  It is my understanding that the Cafritz property is
currently the largest undeveloped piece of privately owned land inside the
beltway, and has tremendous possibilities for our town and region, but it is
up to us to make sure these possibilities are positive ones for ourselves
and those yet to come.
