Holly,
I saw Audrey's comments to you and then I saw Susan's but I missed your
original comment, so forgive me if I am off base.  I have a suggestion about
the mortgage, something I had to do when in a similar devastating situation.
Perhaps we can set up a conference call, and discuss some of the solutions.
I am a resident with no circle of influence in this area, however, my
husband and I were effective at getting a work-around regarding the monthly
mortgage when our income was severely impacted when our non-profit took an
unexpected financial loss.   I think many mortgage companies have this
option, though they will not offer without you asking yourself, rather than
have you lose your home; I can talk with you about it.  I am so sorry you
are experiencing such challenges, but I know you will persevere, and will
continue to gain the strength to carry on.  My sincere prayers are with you
and your family.   By the way, Audrey, thank you again, you were proactive,
supportive and helpful to me during that time, too.  What a wonderful
neighborhood.  What wonderful neighbors.
