[RP TownTalk] tick control?

Two of my neighbors have gotten Lyme disease in the last few years,
and it's horrible!

I'm noticing that the tick population in my yard is much more active
this year than it has been in the past.

Does anyone have suggestions for keeping your yard free of the little
buggers? We have cats, and they get the "Frontline" treatment, which
really works for them. Sadly, there's no equivalent for humans!
