What? 
Its here. Our annual Halloween Pet Costume Party returns for the 7th year. 
It's even bigger and better this year because we're also celebrating  the official 
grand opening of the Old Town Pet shop.
 
The event is free to all.  All Pets and kids in costume will get a prize.
 
When? Sunday, October 28, 2007, 2 PM (rain or shine).
 
Where?
All the fun takes place in the Riverdale Park Town Center parking lot 
(4650 Queensbury Road near the train track crossing).

Activities Include:  
Halloween Pet Costume Parade - prizes for all costumed pets & kids
Live Music by Wave Milor & Mike Westcott
Dog Obedience Demo
Pets & Kids Photo Shoot
New! Pure Breed Parade - See the largest dog breed in the world and some of the smallest too
 
Sequence of events: Costume registration begins at 2 PM, followed by the 
Costume Show and "judging" (everyone wins), then the Dog Obedience 
Demonstration and the Pure Breed Parade (at about 3 PM).
 
The fun is sponsored by the Riverdale Park Business Association, Old Town 
Pets, Pet Pals and the Town of Riverdale Park.
 
If you have or know of any pure breed dogs, I'd appreciate an address, 
email or phone number so I can invite them to participate. (No costumes 
during the Pure Breed Parade). A registration form is available online at 
http://rpwiki.wetpaint.com/page/Pets and needs to be completed by Thursday 
Oct 26. (There is no fee for this or any of the activities).
 
Have even more fun: Help!
Want to have some great fun? We need a few volunteers to help with registering 
costumed kids and pets, handing out prizes, setup and break down of tables at 
12:30 pm and about 4:00. And if you can make balloon animals to give away that 
would be great!
