It is with heavy heart that I send out this e-mail.  As many of you
surely know, Chick Halll's Surf Club has been sold.  At this time I'm
not sure of the fate of live music, (as we know it), at this great
honky tonk.  I've heard rumors that it may continue with the new
owner, and I've heard rumors that September is the last month.

Be that as it may, Friday night, September 7th is our last performance
at Chick Hall's Surf Club.  We will be featuring an all star cast:
The incredible Robert Lighthouse, The Fabulous Mary Shaver, and The
Gal With The Golden Voice -- Marianna Previti.  Robert Lighthouse will
kick things off at 8:30.  Then Mary Shaver & Marianna Previti will
take the stage, and your hearts and souls.  The Smokin' Polecats will
be the house band for the evening.

So..... come one -- come all to Chick Hall's Surf Club, 4711
Kenilworth Ave, Baldensburg, MD for THE FINAL EXTRAVAGANZA.  We start
at 8:30 and bop till we drop.  I hope you'll be there with us.  Call
