[RP TownTalk] Contents of TownTalk Digest, Vol 21, Issue 5--2008 Major Trash Day

Hello everyone. The major annual trash day was May 28th last year--2007.  I called John Benjamin, Acting Director, Public Works , and learned that the annual date for 2008 has yet to be determined.  

As soon as a date is determined by Town officials, I will post it to Town Talk and include it in the upcoming May 2008 Crier.  You are right; paints, metals, tires, or items with freon are not collected along with the your mother-load of accumlated trash on that day!

I found this in a TownAnnounce email from last year:

"Town  Wide Spring Clean ?up day: Tuesday, May 29, 2007
    Remember no paints, metals, tires, or items with Freon."

Somehow my radar scanned right over this in the past. What is "Spring
Clean up day" actually?? Here at the office they give us pizza on
office clean up day once or twice a year...

It's like big trash day multiplied. Just put everything out on the curb except the aforementioned prohibited items. 

No free pizza.
