We also got this from Eric Olson, our PG County District 3 Councilmember.

The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) will be hosting a meeting to focus
on the location of the Purple Line transit stop in the Riverdale community
as well as the route through the intersection of Route 410 and Kenilworth
Avenue. This meeting will be held on Monday, April 21st 2008, beginning at 7
pm at the Riverdale Park Town Hall,
5008 Queensbury Road. This will be one of the best opportunities for the
Riverdale area to share its thoughts on how the Purple Line will move
through the Riverdale community and where it will stop. MTA will recommend
the preferred purple line alignment in September 2008.
