[RP TownTalk] re Feb 19th Prince George’s County Economic Development Corporation meeting in our Town Hall

I asked the town to invite a representative from the County EDC to talk to
the town economic development committee about tools and incentives that the
town could apply to address a variety of issues, and to find out more from
EDC about the range of assistance and expertise that they offer which the
town could tap. That's the agenda for Tuesday.
Thursday of this past week, members of the economic development committee
met with a representative from the County Housing and Community Development
office, which administers separate funds/programs, to do the same kind of
info gathering. There are 3 different county level entities that provide
different forms of assistance for economic development and community
development, and there are a number of sources of support within each. In
addition, I'm looking at what incentives for tenants the town could put in
place to attract occupants to particular properties of interest, such as the
historic town center buildings.
