Try Gene Munson  301-474-5449.  He's done nameless projects and additions on our home.  I would trust him with my children.  He's an old friend and it was great to feel so comfortable giving someone the key to my house.  He's been in the business for years and year and cares a lot about his customers.  He may be a bit slower than some, and he works solo, but you can trust him.  He will never over charge you.  In fact, other fault he has is always wanting to save his customers money by going the cheap route.  Just watch for  that and make sure you get the quality products that you want.  This is a nice thing about him, actually, but something to be aware of.

There - his strengths and his weaknesses, spelled out on a small-town list serve.  What do ya know!

   1. Contractor/Handyman (Dotsie)Hi All,

I have a problem with water warping the top frame of the french doors on my addition. The doors were just put in 3.5 years ago. It is clear that water has gotten into the wall above the doors and now the doors are not fitting properly into the warped frame.

My problem is that I have no idea who to call to even assess the situation, mush less who is qualified to fix it. Does anyone on the list either do this kind of work or know someone who can? Or just a lead on how to find someone. I'm afraid that every rain storm is compounding the situation and I don't want to replace the whole wall, again!

Thanks,
Dotsie
