Unless you dog is 72 lbs of love like mine and then you can neither miss it, nor ignore it. I am VERY lucky that my dog seems to have a solid preference for our backyard and has never made me use the bag I carry in my pocket. Would be quite a workout to bring it home.

That being said, with the push for a reduction in collecting plastic bags from grocery store, bags are not as numerous around the house as they used to be.

I think the real topic here is not so much the bags themselves, but more trash cans available to dump the dumps. I think that pet owners who are likely to pick up already have the bags, they just need to be able to dispose of them rapidly.
