I find it difficult to believe that a party of 400-600 people will not create any issues in the neighborhood.???Can the mayor and police chief assure us of these statements?

Thank you,

Adrianne Lefkowitz
48th and Madison

I had a meeting with the Mayor Archer, David Lingua and the Police Chief to
discuss concerns regarding logistics, traffic, crowd and noise control. There
will be plenty of room as this event will take place in my BACKYARD which is
about one acre in size. There will be some off street handicap parking in my
yard. There will be signs directing people to additional parking areas and
bags will be placed over other signs to address parking concerns. Please note
this is only a 4 hour BBQ event not a party. I will be using my very small PA
system for a few speakers. We have received free services from a local DJ that
I have been in consistent communications and I have made him very aware that
keeping the levels of volume very low is extremely important to my neighborhood.
NO there will be NO COST to the town of Riverdale Park, this event is being
sponsored by the Prince George's for Obama and Maryland for Obama volunteer
committee's and we will cover all cost involved in thi
s event including hiring 2 Officers to help oversee traffic control etc.

Please note that Senator Obama WILL NOT be attending, only his supporters, he
will most likely be in Puerto Rico for their primary. There will be other
politician's and surrogate's who will be speaking on his behalf therefore we are
expecting approx. 400-600 invitees. If you have any further questions, please
do not hesitate to contact the Mayor, David, Hellmut or myself. Thanks a
million and I look forward to seeing everyone on a very sunny day, June 7th from
2:00 until 6:00pm Novella.
