The dog parks I have been to, College Park, Greenbelt, Quiet Waters (near
Annapolis and with a dog beach! and a dog wash at the entrance!) all have 2
areas. One for big dogs and one for small dogs. I think your dog will fit
right in. Quiet Waters is a trip of about 35 minutes, but well worth it. Could
make a day of it - go to the dog beach first, walk the trails and then go to
the dog park - all walking distance. There is a small fee to get in the
park. The dog wash/coffee shop is right at the entrance and you can wash the dog
or they will do it and you can sip coffee. Its a nice outing for owners and
pups!

I need to find a large dog-doggy park!
My chocolate lab is 80lbs of fun with an oral obsession and an exacerbating
love of all people, dogs and mud.
He also has terrible manners and will not stop at anything to demonstrate
his affections for all things, alive or not. Luckily, he is not perverse.
How does large vs tiny dog interaction gets handled at these parks?
Anyone have any insight on the whole experience?

Greenbelt also has a dog park. Just go up Good Luck Rd. turn left on
Hanover Parkway (at the 7-11), go almost to the light and turn Left and its right
there. Near those apt. buildings and swim pool. Might even be closer than
College Park. I have been to both and they are very nice. If you go there
and there are people there, they will let you in to see how you like it before
you join the club. Audrey

It's right on the Northeast trail, next to a parking lot that you
would get to by car by turning left off Route 1 onto Mezerott Rd
(Mezerott goes off to the left where Greenbelt Rd starts on the right)
and heading down the hill to where you cross the trail. I believe you
have to be a member to have access, and that it's generally locked.
