[RP TownTalk] missing a dog?

Is your dog missing? A medium-sized, mostly black, kinda fluffy dog with
ears that stand up was just loitering in front of my house. He/she had a
long cable trailing behind, so it looks like mom / dad think he's on a lead
in the back yard. From my door, I didn't see if there was a collar; by the
time I got my shoes on, the wanderer was gone.  
 
Sound familiar to anybody?
