I agree it is a fun event, but don't be impressed by the number of volunteers. Employees are required to volunteer.

In just under 2 weeks is the annual
UMD "explore our world" festival.

Saturday, April 25, 10-am-4pm. And its free.

They claim 8,000 volunteers participate in it. Wow.
It is always an amazing and fun event.
Highly recommended.

It has stuff for nerds and jocks,
kids thru senior citizens,
drama weirdos and business suits,
local farmers and global villages
and of course live performances and food.
