None of my English teachers, would in their wildest dreams, believe that
I about to do.

Parsing my statement, removing the clause, "When you presented you (sic)
idea to the Council," and the modifiers, "of using the students interest
in art as a vehicle to engage them in a socially positive group
interaction" leaves "I though your (Chris') idea ... was noble.

noble, 1 a: possessing outstanding qualities, 3 a: possessing very high
or excellent qualities or properties b: very good or excellent 5:
possessing, characterized by, or arising from superiority of mind ...
{Webster's Ninth New Collegiate Dictionary}

So yes, on reflection I think Chris' idea (objective) is noble.

Yes Sarah, I too think art can be noble. Lets hold that for an other
thread and separate opinions of art from the evaluation of teaching our
youth.
