Subject: {Univ. Park List} Assisting our Au Pair in Finding a new Host Family

We are assisting our very experienced au pair, Kathy, in finding a caring
and supportive family. My husband was recently diagnosed with cancer so we
are hiring a caregiver who will also assume Kathy's responsibilities.
Unfortunately, we will not require the assistance of both and since Kathy
loves this area, we thought someone in our neighborhood might have a need
for an au pair.

Kathy is from Panama and speaks excellent English and Spanish. She is infant
qualified meaning not only can she care for older children, but is trained
to take care of newborns. We used Cultural Care to find her so the new
family would have to use their service to acquire Kathy, but please do not
let that deter you.

We are very happy with her work and our son's have truly bonded with her.
She is dependable, responsible, communicates well, conservative (does not
drink, smoke or wants to "party" like some au pairs). In addition she is
very flexible and great with our children. I recommend her without
reservation.

If you need more information on Cultural Care, you can visit their website
at www.culturalcare.com. Don't let the program costs keep you from a great
person to entrust your children. They now have a program that allows you to
pay the program cost over time and is much less than a nanny. Kathy prefers
to stay in the Hyattsville or University Park area, but is open to other
parts of PG, Montgomery County or DC as she would like to be near a metro
station.

Kathy is like a daughter to us and I've assured her mother, who is in
Panama, that I will assist Kathy in finding a family who she can feel safe
with and learn more about our beautiful, proud country. You can reach me via
email at skates at digigaps.com or my cell phone (703) 862-2023. I am more
than happy to give you information on my experience with Cultural Care, au
pairs and more details about Kathy.

Feel free to forward to others who may be interested.
