I know some subscribers aren't thrilled about messages that contain ads, but
I'm not at all bothered when they're from local businesses. I'm glad to have
the opportunity to spend my money locally. As long as the subject line is
appropriate and folks feel free to use the delete button, why not?

Subject: [RP TownTalk] Thanks from Hank's for the kind words!

Hank's Tavern & Eats has just opened and we're really trying hard to be a
good neighbor and a great new alternative for eating out. We sure
appreciate the nice comments we've received so far.

We'd love to: hear any suggestions you may have for us, get information
about sponsoring community events, and meet as many of you as possible in
the near future.

Not sure if I can sound like an ad on this posting or not.but.we have happy
hour 7 days a week from 3-7pm and we're having a big SuperB*wl Party (we're
not allowed to say that word) on 2/1/09.

This Friday I'd like to invite the Riverdale-park readers to happy hour at
Hank's. Go ahead and use the password "Riverdale" and we'll give you one
dollar 12 oz drafts, or one dollar Bud, Bud Lt. or Natty Boh cans for the
whole 3-7 happy hour. If it works out, maybe we can do something like this
every week. I'll have to limit this special to the bar area, though (not
the dining room).

Hope to see everyone here!!! Steve at Hank's
