Book Nook Bookstore is happy to announce 2 booksignings in the month of June by two  local authors.
 
Dan Strickman, will discuss and answer questions about his newly released Oxford University Press book, the Prevention of Bug Bites, Stings, and Disease on Sat June 6 from 1-3p.m. Find out how to prevent and protect yourself and family no matter where you are in the world. Ask questions that you've always wanted to know about mosquitoes, wasp, bees, bed bugs, ticks, mites, spiders, ants, etc. Do mosquitoes like certain blood types? What can I do at hotels to prevent me from getting bed bugs? Children and bug bites-what to do when my child gets stung? What can I use in my backyard to prevent mosquitoes that won't be harmful to my children and pets? What can I do about ants in my house? This will be a fun but informative talk!!
 
 
 
Kim Kash will discuss and sign her new book Ocean City: A Guide to Maryland's Seaside Resort on Sat June 27, 2009 from 1-3pm. Learn what brings vacationers back year after year, including information about area beaches, the famous Ocean City Boardwalk, area dining, shopping, golfing, water parks and more.
