Thanks for all of the comments on Rancho Grande, both pro and con; guess it all boils down to personal taste?  We're lucky to have such a great variety of restaurants in the immediate area, aren't we?  And I'm especially pleased that many of them aren't the large "chain-type" restaurants.  I DID think Rancho Grandes' prices were a bit high but I was very pleased with my entree' (Camarones plancha - marinated shrimp).  

RE the Shagga coffee shop; I've had the sambosas (patties) and they're great; what about the wats (stews), are they very spicy?  I love spicy food!

Now if we could just get a good Thai/Vietnamese restaurant in town....... (smile)
