Hello All-
We got word last week that public works will not be  working on the 4th  due to budgetary shortfalls and will not  help set up/ break down the tents, tables and chairs. 

We need help! 

So far just Don, Emily, Del and myself. Don may have a graduate student volunteer from work. 
Also , we need to put out the farm market signs around town in the early AM on the 4th. I plan to stencil paper to cover the signs, that say 4th of July celebration with an arrow . We need a volunteer(s) to put them out and pick them up.
We really need the help.

I want to point out that the bike -- along with not one but two bike
helmets, and a good quality bike lock -- were donated by the
Renaissance Bikes, itself a great program for youth which is under the
auspices of the Engaged University
(http://www.engagedu.umd.edu/programs/bicycle).  So, a shout out to
them for their very generous donation, and appeal to everyone to take
advantage of this opportunity to win a great prize, and contribute to
the furtherance of the arts in our town.

(The drawing will take place on the 4th, but you need not be present to win)

We'll have a photo of the bike (along with more details) on the Wiki
in the very near future; you'll see it's well worth the wager of a few
bucks for raffle tickets -- this is a *very* nice prize.  Tickets will
be on sale on Thursday at the Farmers Market and of course on Saturday
at the 4th of July Celebration.  If you're unable to attend and would
like to buy some raffle tickets, pls contact Melissa Avery at
