All -
Our neighbors to the east invite us to join them for a talk on native plants
on Saturday:

KATE BUCCO OF KENILWORTH AQUATIC GARDENS TO SPEAK ON NATIVE PLANTS

The Riverdale Heights, Riverdale Hills, and Crestwood Community Association
cordially invites the general public to attend its next meeting on Saturday,
May 9th featuring Kate Bucco of the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens. Ms. Bucco
will speak on the subject of landscaping with plants native to Maryland. The
native plants are heat resistant and can deal with the arid conditions that
often affect our region in late summer. She will also discuss upcoming
events at the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens and answer questions. Ms. Bucco, a
resident of Greenbelt, is a trained horticulturist and is employed as a
public communications expert by the National Park Service at the Kenilworth
Aquatic Gardens.

The meeting and presentation will be held at 11AM on Saturday, May 9th at
The Center for Educational Partnership located at 6200 Sheridan St. near
William Wirt Middle School. The Center can be reached by heading north on
62nd Place off of Rt. 410 between the BW Parkway and Kenilworth Avenue.

The Riverdale Heights, Riverdale Hills, Crestwood Community Association,
Inc. has been in existence for two years and is dedicated to improving the
quality of life for these neighborhoods by promoting public safety,
environmentalism, beautification, and community spirit.
