Awww, I'm so sorry to hear that, they had some good food (oh, those potato 
chips!).  Too bad they couldn't afford to stay.  Are the rents going up THAT 
much due to all of the new building, etc., in the area?  If so, that's not good 
news for the "Mom and Pop" businesses.  Very sad.  Thanks for letting us know.

Subject: [RP TownTalk] sad news


For other  fans of the Chips & Deli shop:   It seems tomorrow is the last day of 
business for some of our town's long-time merchants.  The folks  who currently 
run the Chips & Deli and formerly operated the Subway sub shop at the same 
location on Rte. 1 are closing their doors due to a tremendous rent  increase.  
Sad to see another business leave town and good neighbors with it.
