Well - my 2 cents worth.  I am happy to see Twitter
here,  I have trouble learning the computer so to
have somebody doing Twitter for Riverdale I think
is great.  The organizations in Riverdale need a
place to tell our town residents what they are 
doing, what picnics, get togethers they are
having, things we need to function for Riverdale.
Town residents should be well informed & 
volunteer, help where they can. A community
cannot pull together if we cannot communicate.
Town Crier and Town Talk should be for our
residents to exchange info. & now Twitter.
 
We need a way for all our Restaurants to
talk about themselves.  Riverdale residents 
should be supporting the Riv. businesses but 
how do you support them if you do not know
their personal family story of how they began,
what they do, address of the business, picture
of the owner, employees, etc.
 
Our volunteer groups work hard to serve the town 
& its residents. I bet many residents do  not even 
know what volunteer groups are in town & what 
they do.
 
I think Town Crier and Town Talk do a great job
& service.  But i still think there needs to be 
more done so everybody has a chance to know
all that is available in our town & the people
providing the services so our residents can
support their own community first and their own
organizations first.
