[RP TownTalk] University of Maryland shuttle

Seems to me I read a while back on TownTalk that there was a possibility that town residents might be able to utilize the University of Maryland shuttles that run in the area - has anyone heard any more about that, is there a good possibility or was the idea scrapped?

Speaking of the University; there was an article on their website about closure of Campus Drive (beginning tomorrow) from the M circle up to Cole Field House which would affect most privately owned vehicles and, at times, even ban Metro buses.  So if you cut through the University or use public buses which travel through the University, you might want to double-check your commute.
