Hi neighbors,

No-charge neutering for cats

Pet owners with annual income of $30,000 or less can have their male cats
neutered at no charge June 28 by the Washington Animal Rescue League. There
is no residency requirement, and appointments are not necessary. Cats must
not be fed after 10 p.m. June 27 because surgery can be performed only if
the cat has an empty stomach. Cats must be dropped off in carriers at the
league's medical center between 8 and 9 a.m. and picked up between 3 and 4
p.m. Routine vaccinations can be done for $10 each. No feral cats or rescue
groups will be accepted. For information, call 202-726-2256. Should you know
of a pet owner looking for help with their pet cat neuter, this is an
excellent opportunity.

Your neighbor, Adrianne Lefkowitz
