I have been to England and have seen all the 
cameras.  In talking to some of the English
friends & B&Bs we stayed at - they do not 
look at it as Big Brother anything - their 
police can catch all the robbers, muggers,
etc so much faster as they have their 
trail on camera & the Brits call in immed.
when they see the person/car on the road so
the police can arrest them.  They told
me they think all countries should adopt
this plan.  They do not consider it spying.
If you are not breaking the law - then there
is nothing to spy about. It makes them
feel safer.
