As Hurricane Irene moves toward the East Coast, we need to be vigilant in
all
aspects of our lives in preparation of severe weather.  

 

Please ensure your families are prepared for an emergency if it arises.
Everyone must develop a family disaster plan. At a minimum, families should
have sufficient supplies of non-perishable food and water, as well as a
battery-operated radio and an ample supply of batteries. Emergency
management
officials estimate that families need to be self-sufficient for at least 72
hours. For more information about specific actions to take during
emergencies
