Thank you for the web links.This is a service that is vitally important to every on in town.We do live in an area where flooding is a great possibility with a sever storm event.
My biggest questions are
what do you do if a tree falls on your house?
and
What do you do with your pets if a tree falls on your house?
Thanks once again

Friends/Neighbors
As Hurricane Irene moves toward the East Coast, we need to be vigilant in all
aspects of our lives in preparation of severe weather.
Please ensure your families are prepared for an emergency if it arises.
Everyone must develop a family disaster plan. At a minimum, families should
have sufficient supplies of non-perishable food and water, as well as a
battery-operated radio and an ample supply of batteries. Emergency management
officials estimate that families need to be self-sufficient for at least 72
hours. For more information about specific actions to take during emergencies
and disasters, please visit the following Web sites:
Maryland Emergency Management Agency www.mema.state.md.us;
Federal Emergency Management Agency at www.ready.gov
American Red Cross at www.redcross.org.
