CPNSK  Presents:  Learning through play—Why it works, and how to support it

Please join College Park Nursery School and Kindergarten on Wednesday, March
30 from 7-8 PM for an engaging conversation on the importance of play in
children’s learning.   Educators Joan Sicher and Claire Beth, who together
have taught for over 60 years, will present on how play supports emotional
and social development as well as academic learning.    The brief
presentation will be followed by a conversation with parents who are
encouraged to come with questions.   Handout materials and light
refreshments will be provided.

The presentation will address questions such as:  How do children learn from
play? Is all play created equal?  How can I best prepare my child for
school? How do I support my child’s social, emotional and academic
development?

Please join us for this important conversation.  Voluntary donations of $5
are suggested.
