 I believe the proper thing to do is make an offer to buy, say $200,000 and
when refused
start the proceeding to take condemnation action and allow the courts to
decide the price
after appraisors do their job, but the building will be demolished while the
courts make their decision. The eyesore should be eliminated. Maybe the town
was shortsighted
when they denied the innovative gas station proposedby Jey in2005. Some of
you newcomers
should look at was proposed at that time, not just a typical gas station.
Just my and others opinion.
