[RP TownTalk] Holiday Events

Hello community members, 
I have seen many notes passing across my desk about upcoming Holiday Events.  I would like to remind everyone that Maryland Milestones - the regional Heritage Area program - has been working hard to collect many of these community events into one calendar.  They are available from our website: www.marylandmilestones.org/holiday-events You can also sign up for our regular e-blast which gives you a run down of the events every Friday morning.  We are on Twitter (@atheritagearea) and Facebook.  While we do not list specifically religious events, feel free to send me events that occur right here in our region and I will see if we can get them posted. 
Meanwhile, I also wanted to open up our Holiday Mixer event on December 20, 4-6pm at Riversdale House Museum.  We will discuss what has worked this year and what we look forward to next year (like a new mobile app, some new driving tours, and War of 1812 commemoration events).  It will be a chance to eat some cheese and drink some wine and to connect to those that are interested in history, art, culture, and nature and how we can encourage more visitors to the region.
